Cavan Equestrian Centre is owned and run by the Clarke family and its primary business are International Performance Horse Auctions and high level Showjumping Competitions.
We are opening our centre as a major training facility for worldwide students to improve their riding and jumping ability. In 2004 we hosted our first large group of students in all we had 11 riders between the ages of 14 and 24 from Qatar Traveling along with these riders were 2 trainers and one minder to help watch over the team. This group trained at Cavan Equestrian Centre for two and a half months – June, July and part of August. With the weather being so hot in Qatar during these months this was a great opportunity for these riders to gain new experience. On this occasion 2 horses were hired for each rider on which they received training from their own coaches. The Qatar team all stayed at a local hotel and hired a minibus to ferry them around.
Along with this being an excellent opportunity for mid-Eastern countries to escape the heat and train in much more acceptable conditions it is also a tremendous opportunity for other countries to train teams at an outstanding venue and beautiful surroundings.
It is our intention that we will provide trainers for future students attending training at the centre.
We can provide the following facilities;- Top class competition venue, 2 indoor arenas, 1 all weather arena, 2 grass arena and 400 stables.
- Training for riders from novice to Grand Prix level
- Hire of horses if needed or stabling of students own horses.
- Opportunity to compete at the centre and to travel to national shows.

- Grooms if needed
